Nicoleta Lupu was born in Romania in 1986, she attended the Faculty of Sociology at the University of Transylvania (Brasov), finished her studies in

Montreux (Switzerland) and from that moment on she began her interest in artistic photography, which culminated in portraiture, developing her professional activity in London, Milan and Madrid. During this period

she began to experiment with light and to reveal the people behind her models in a search for the self, which she has reflected in different exhibitions using black and white as a tool to show the essence of her portraits. Her work has received critical acclaim, international awards and wide media coverage.
